Message From the Principal
Hello and welcome to the Bellingham Elementary school-loop website! My name is John Graham and I am very excited to be the new Principal at Bellingham Elementary School. I am very honored to have been given this opportunity to work the students, parents, teachers, and school staff at this exceptional school. As I am getting to know the teachers and support staff I am noticing a group of educators that truly cares for the educational and social needs of our students. As I visit classrooms, I am happy to see challenging and rigorous instruction that is based on the California Common Core Standards. Students requiring extra instructional support receive academic intervention in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom through Saturday and afterschool programs. The staff and I are looking at ways to improve our school discipline policy and school-wide positive behavior support program and to make preparations for the 2017-2018 school year. As the school year winds down, we will keep you updated regarding special school activities and celebration of student achievements. I hope to meet you soon if I have not already met you and I encourage you to get involved with our many parent volunteer opportunities we offer at Bellingham.
Bellingham 3rd-5th grade students will be testing beginning March 20-May 9, 2017. Your child will be participating in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. Here are the testing dates for each grade level.
